Edinburgh Modern Pentathlon
EMP is the first pentathlon hub in Edinburgh and currently offers the first Laser-Run classes in the city.
The classes are intended to teach youngsters the combination of laser shooting and running in an entertaining way. Recommended age: 8 - and older until 90
The HUB's goals are to build a sports community and to promote Modern Pentathlon in conformity with Pentathlon GB's current child protection, equal opportunity, and anti-doping rules.
EMP aims
- to promote this unique combination of sports that offers new challenges at any age
- to encourage kids and adults to incorporate sports activities into their daily routines
- To raise awareness about health and well-being and to support kids and adults in achieving their sports goals

Laser Run in Modern Pentathlon
Laser-Run is a multisport competition consisting of running and shooting. It is a sport in its own right. As Combined, the Laser-Run is the last event of the Modern Pentathlon. Laser-Run is a competition that involves cross-country running and laser pistol shooting in multiple sequences.
